Bread, Miden’s new wallet, is the best way to try Miden partner mainnet. From October 26, invited users can use real funds on Miden, from a phone or browser.
And, yes, anyone can become a “partner.” An early-access code is all you need to get in.
To receive a code, you need to join the early access list. Codes only go to people on the early access list, so joining is the first step. Already signed up? You’re on it. We start emailing codes to selected users from October 26. Access will open in waves, with a limited number of places during partner mainnet, so joining doesn’t guarantee a spot. If your code hasn’t arrived yet, stay on the list for the upcoming waves.
Once you’re in, your partner mainnet account automatically receives a small amount of USDCx for network fees. That saves you the hassle of tracking down the fee token just to get started. You’ll still need to add the money you want to send or swap. You can bring tokens from Ethereum into Miden, plus selected assets from other supported chains (see supported networks and tokens on the Bread Support page). Missing a token or chain you’d like to use? Let us know what you’d like us to add. An on-ramp option will also be available in the coming weeks.
Sending someone money is the simplest way to experience onchain privacy, and Bread makes it smooth and easy. You can swap between supported assets on Miden (see the available pairs) or transfer funds to a supported chain when you need them elsewhere.
If you’d rather put some funds to work, Bread also lets you deposit into Aave on Ethereum and manage your position from the wallet. Earn is available to eligible users outside the U.K. and the State of New York.
And for a little friendly competition, we’ve also built arcade mini-games to play within Bread, where you can post high scores onchain and challenge friends to beat you.
For more info about what happens in the background and the privacy details, check out the How Bread Works article.
One very important note: partner mainnet is temporary. You’ll need to withdraw your funds before partner mainnet ends. We’ll share the withdrawal instructions and deadline with all participating users. But keep that in mind before depositing.
Bread and Miden partner mainnet are still at an early stage. Only use funds you can afford to lose.
This is Miden’s first stage with real funds, so we’re keeping access gradual and deposits modest. During partner mainnet, Bread and the bridge page limit deposits so your total balance in Bread stays below $1,232.462. Why that amount, you may ask? It’s a little nod to a special prime number called Goldilocks, used by Miden under the hood and familiar to cryptography enthusiasts…
Bread is available on iOS, Android, and as a Chrome extension. Visit our Support page for help with the app or to share your feedback.

Yes. Bread is available on iOS and Android. It can also be installed as a Chrome extension. Partner mainnet access requires an early access code on all three.
You’ll use the same app, so there’s no need to reinstall Bread. Moving to partner mainnet requires an in-app reset and a fresh wallet setup, with an early access code. Your testnet wallet and test tokens won’t carry over. If you stay on testnet, you can keep using your compatible testnet wallet for a couple weeks.
You can send payments, transfer funds to and from supported chains, swap on Miden, and earn yield through Aave on Ethereum. We’ve also built arcade mini-games inside Bread, where you can post high scores onchain, challenge other players, and win “Gamecoins” along the way.

Network fees are paid in USDCx. Your partner mainnet wallet is pre-funded with USDCx, which should cover at least 50 transactions. You’ll still need to add the money you want to send, swap, or earn yield from.
